Recent paintings and drawings by Rosie Phillips

‘Close’ is a collaboration between Contemporary and Country and the Crypt Gallery at Norwich School . The gallery space will be becoming a working studio for a Norwich-based artist residency, the first of its kind, for portrait artist Rosie Phillips.

Rosie will be resident from early January through to the middle of February. During this time she is going to be working to capture pupils, staff and members of the Cathedral community in a series of outcomes that will include drawings and paintings.

There will be a series of Open Studio Days when visitors can book in for a special studio visit to see work in progress and take part in an informal Q&A session with the artist.

EXHIBITION "CLOSE" | 10-15 February
The residency will conclude with a public exhibition of Rosie Phillips's work 'Close' from 10-15 February 2024 in The Crypt Gallery.  This exhibition will be curated by Contemporary and Country and will be a display of recent paintings and outcomes from the residency.
